Lower Countertop

I lowered a kitchen countertop by first removing the existing countertop material and the electrical outlets I had to re wire and move. Once the surface was cleared, I evaluated the cabinet structure and determined how much height needed to be reduced to achieve the desired level.
I then modified the base cabinets by cutting them down evenly, making sure to maintain structural integrity and keep everything level across the entire run. In areas where cutting wasn’t ideal, I adjusted or rebuilt sections of the cabinet framing to ensure a consistent height.
After the cabinets were properly lowered and secured, I set the countertop, making sure it was level, properly supported, and aligned with surrounding surfaces. I moved and reconnected the outlets and sealed all edges and joints for a clean finish.
The end result is a properly lowered countertop that improves accessibility and functionality while maintaining a clean, professional look throughout the kitchen.
