Deck

I started by tearing down the old 12x12 deck, removing the decking boards, railings, and framing down to the ground. I hauled away the old materials and cleared the area, making sure the site was clean and ready for the new build.

Next, I laid out and built a larger deck, beginning with setting new footings and posts to properly support the expanded structure. I framed the deck to size, ensuring everything was square, level, and built to last. Once the framing was complete, I installed the decking boards, securing them evenly for a clean, professional finish.

Alongside the new deck, I created a 12x12 paver section by excavating the area and preparing a solid base with compacted gravel and sand. I carefully laid the pavers in a consistent pattern, making sure they were level and tightly fitted. After placing all the pavers, I added joint sand and compacted the surface to lock everything in place.

The final result is a larger, sturdy deck paired with a 12x12 paver area, creating a functional and visually appealing outdoor space perfect for relaxing or entertaining.
