Cedar Siding

I repaired extensive water damage on a home dating back to the early 1900s, where years of improper sealing had allowed moisture to get behind the exterior. I started by removing all the damaged siding to fully expose the structure and assess the extent of the issues.

Once opened up, it was clear there was widespread damage, so I replaced large sections of the vapor barrier, along with compromised studs and insulation. I carefully rebuilt and reinforced the framing where needed, making sure everything was solid, dry, and up to code before closing the walls back in.

After restoring the structure, I installed all new exterior siding, properly sealing and weatherproofing the home to prevent future moisture problems. With the exterior fully rebuilt, I completed the project by repainting the entire outside of the house, giving it a clean, refreshed look while protecting it from the elements.

The end result is a fully restored exterior that not only brings new life to this older home but also ensures it’s structurally sound and properly sealed for years to come.
